CATHY BLAIR
Founder
Cathy Blair is the founder and lead instructor at Keyheart Training. As a self-titled landlord recruiter, she brings real-world experience in placing people into housing and building strong and resilient resource networks of landlords to house her clients. Prior to building Keyheart Training, Ms. Blair began her journey in the social services field in 2016 with a position for Aurora@Home, the City of Aurora’s collaborative plan to end homelessness. The same year, she also earned her Colorado Real Estate License, which continues to aid her knowledge of the Denver Metro Real Estate Market and housing rules and regulations. Before entering the social services arena, she held several corporate sales positions which formed her skills and knowledge for building relationships, marketing, business processes, and negotiations. Blair has leveraged those abilities and experience creating a process that helped her secure homes for hundreds of households. She hopes to train individuals to duplicate her methodology, enabling more people to access stable housing. Cathy Blair earned a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Communications from the University of Nevada and lives in Denver Metro with her husband and 3 kids. Testimonials

Read what our participants have to say

“This training was one of the most beneficial trainings I have ever attended. It is such a unique experience from a Case Manager and a Landlord’s different perspectives. I know that every case manager can utilize all of these tools and ideas that are presented.”

Andrew Y.
Safe Outdoor Space, Salvation Army
“Prior to working with Cathy and Teri, SAFER had very little success in accomplishing next step housing after sheltering its very vulnerable high needs and landlord averse population. Cathy and Teri taught our SAFER team through their landlord and supportive housing tool kit (Keyheart Training), critical perspectives to switch our lenses from a social justice perspective when dealing with housing and landlords to be able to walk in the shoes of landlords, addressing landlord issues.”
Gina S.
SAFER Opportunities
“My experience was that the knowledge given was very helpful and I found the information from the presentation was very thought out. I learned a lot and was given some information that I had not been aware of before. Thanks for the opportunity to gain this experience. I was very impressed with you ladies, and I hope to get an opportunity to learn from you in the future.”
