“This training was one of the most beneficial trainings I have ever attended. It is such a unique experience from a Case Manager and a Landlord’s different perspectives. I know that every case manager can utilize all of these tools and ideas that are presented.”

“Prior to working with Cathy and Teri, SAFER had very little success in accomplishing next step housing after sheltering its very vulnerable high needs and landlord averse population. Cathy and Teri taught our SAFER team through their landlord and supportive housing tool kit (Keyheart Training), critical perspectives to switch our lenses from a social justice perspective when dealing with housing and landlords to be able to walk in the shoes of landlords, addressing landlord issues.”
Gina S.
SAFER Opportunities
“My experience was that the knowledge given was very helpful and I found the information from the presentation was very thought out. I learned a lot and was given some information that I had not been aware of before. Thanks for the opportunity to gain this experience. I was very impressed with you ladies, and I hope to get an opportunity to learn from you in the future.”

The flagship course for KHT, Training for Tenant and Landlord Engagement is different because it is taught by a Property Manager and a Landlord Recruiter. The Property Manager offers in-site and knowledge that is new to anyone stepping into class for the first time. This course comes at this work from a business/sales perspective.

The full day in-person class, Training for Tenant and Landlord Engagement starts at 8:30am and concludes at 4pm with a one-hour break for lunch.

Current training classes have been set up by cities and municipalities and offered to partner agencies. Please reach out to KHT and we will speak about any upcoming opportunities to attend.
